Mosquito Joe is seeing an increase in business as mosquito season looms.
Mosquito season is nearly here and this time around a new species of the pest could be carrying the Zika virus with them.
So, St. Louis is preparing different tactics than used in the past. Control efforts are focused on the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus species of mosquitoes, as both species are thought to be carriers of the virus.
The fears amidst the virus, locally, has increased business for Mosquito Joe franchisee Scott Janssen.
