Franchisees Tim and Kristen Sorrentino elaborate on goal of educating residents about mosquito safety this summer
Tim and Kristen Sorrentino recently opened their first Mosquito Joe territory serving South Jersey. The couple has set a goal of gaining 400 customers this summer by being active in their local community and educating residents about the efficacy of their services.
"Even before Zika or West Nile, people just wanted to enjoy their outdoors," Tim told the South Jersey Times. "People don't know that there's such a product that exists other than spraying yourself with 'Off!'"
Tim and Kristen are lifelong residents of New Jersey and met while both attending Rowan University in Glassboro. Tim first heard about Mosquito Joe from a friend he met in the army who owned a territory in Pennsylvania. After exploring the model and meeting with the Mosquito Joe team, the pair felt there was a market for the brand's services in South Jersey and decided to bring the concept to their hometown and surrounding areas.
"The Sorrentinos have a great opportunity to help their community, get them back outside and enjoying the summer mosquito-free," Green told the South Jersey Times.
